ABOUT US
The Village of Holiday Lake,
Inc. is a Homeowners Association located in Port Charlotte,
Florida. We have 551 manufactured homes on 247 acres of land with
a man-made lake in the center. The Village abuts the Butterford
Waterway which leads out to Charlotte Harbor. A boat ramp is
available.
The Village facilities consist of two recreation buildings. The smaller
includes three pool tables, TV, and the business offices. The larger
recreation hall is used for Village functions and meetings. This
includes a fully equipped kitchen, a crafts room, meeting rooms and a
separate building for woodworking. In addition to the recreation
buildings we have two storage compounds for boats and trailers. The
Storage Compound space is allotted on a first come/first serve basis.
There is a $50.00 refundable deposit for a key to the compound.
Our facilities also include two swimming pools, one heated; two bocce
courts, two shuffleboard courts, two tennis courts and a horseshoe pit.

Monthly Maintenance Fee
The Association monthly maintenance fee is $95.00 per month. This fee
entitles your use of all the facilities and we mow your lawn. As a
property owner you are subject to paying your own utilities and yearly
County property taxes. Garbage pick-up is included
in your yearly County taxes.
Office
Faxing and copying services are available in the office for a small
fee. Village bumper stickers are REQUIRED and available in the park
office for $1.00 each. Visitors and renters are REQUIRED to get tags
and temporary car decals to use the facilities, available at the park
office with a refundable deposit.
Trash –Yard Waste – Recycled Items
Trash is picked up on Mondays. Yard Waste and Recycled Items are picked
up on Mondays. Yard trash must either be in a garbage bin marked
“Yard Trash” or in a special brown bag you can purchase
most anywhere that is made just for yard waste. If more information is
needed for the Recycle Program please call Charlotte Sanitation at
(941) 629-1106. This includes special pick-ups like refrigerators,
stoves, etc.
Calendar & Special Events
Activity calendars for the current month are posted on bulletin boards
in both Recreation Halls.
Calendars and news are in the current issue of the Voice, our monthly
newsletter. These are delivered to your home around the first of every
month. If you do not receive one you may pick one up at the Village
office.
Coffee Hour is every Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. in the large Recreation
Hall. Social events and news announcements are given at this time.
Please remember to bring your Homeowner, renter or visitor
identification with you.
Recreational Tickets for Functions and Special Events
Tickets for functions and events must be purchased on Wednesday before
Coffee Hour at the Recreational Hall between
8:30 A.M. and 10:00 A.M.
