Kitchen
Korner By Kathy
Amelia
We are in the busiest month of the season and the kitchen
is abuzz with activities and aromas. We will be turning over our
kitchen to the
Men's Club on February 15 for their Hot Dog Lunch and all the proceeds
will go
to the Men's Club.
On February 18, our yearly Kitchen Party celebrates the
existence of the Village Cafe for over 30 years. This will be an
evening of
good food and good music from Nick Gillette and his band, along with
some kudos
to some of the familiar faces in the kitchen. We will have our Italian
Festa
Lunch on February 29 with Sausage and Peppers, Meatball Subs, Antipasto
Salad,
Mary Jane Dow's Italian Wedding Soup, and my "Amore Cake" that is far
from sugar free! Enjoy this exciting time at our Cafe and in our
Village.
